Wand Workshop

Wand & Order Wand Workshop Guide

Quick answer

Zone 2 sorting route and missing-wand checklist.

Article details
Published: Updated:

The Wand Workshop is Zone 2 and contains roughly 1,300 items according to Steam. Avoid treating all wand boxes as one pool: establish a correct cabinet or case as a reference, then collect one matching family at a time.

Workshop route

  1. Read the held wand name and inspect its case, trim, material, and school clues.
  2. Compare it with the labels and examples already inside nearby cabinets.
  3. Complete one correct display before carrying similar-looking wands across the room.
  4. Search one floor at a time and keep unresolved wands near their likely cabinet instead of the central walkway.
  5. Use Vision for a known family and Magnetic Vacuum while holding a matching wand.
  6. Run an upper-floor, stairs, railing, corner, and cabinet-end sweep before declaring the zone stuck.

Every school repeats the same material/trim rule:

Shelf sectionTrimMaterial familyCommon name materials
LeftGoldExoticAntler, chitin, ivory, fossil
CenterSilverMetalCopper, brass, iron, silver
RightBronzeWoodOak, birch, elder, pine

Each wand type forms a 3×3 set. Use the number on the end face to complete the grid; the exact left-to-right order of different wand names inside the correct school/material display is less important than matching school, box color, and trim first.

Name vocabulary by school

SchoolSuffixes that identify the family
AlterationShape, Twist, Shift, Warp, Transmute
NecromancyDeath, Grave, Soul, Crypt, Decay
IllusionShroud, Mirage, Shadow, Phantom, Veil
RestorationRestore, Heal, Remedy, Relief, Cure
DestructionFlame, Ember, Pyre, Inferno, Blaze
ConjurationCalling, Rift, Portal, Summon, Gate

If a wand will not place

  • Re-read the full name; similar cases do not guarantee the same destination.
  • Compare trim and material before relying on the dominant color.
  • Check whether the display represents a magic school rather than only a material.
  • Look for the same family in another cabinet or on another floor.
  • Use current placement feedback rather than forcing an old community layout.

Completion checklist

  • All visible cases and cabinets have no unexplained gap.
  • Ground and upper floors have been searched in separate passes.
  • Stairs, railings, side rooms, and furniture edges are clear.
  • Sorting progress and cleaning progress are both complete.
