All Item Placements in Wand & Order
Quick answer
Look up the room, family, and placement rule before building a full shelf route.
Use this page when the question is simple: I am holding this item; where does it go? It is a live-game lookup hub, not a promise that every object name has a verified row yet. Start with browser find for the item family, then open the linked zone guide for the exact shelf route.
Quick lookup table
| What you are holding | Where to start | Placement answer | Next guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tarot card | Zone 1, Archives | Split Major Arcana from Cups, Wands, Swords, and Pentacles. Then match the current deck treatment, color, trim, and sequence shown by nearby completed rows. | Archives Guide |
| Major Arcana card | Zone 1, Archives | Use the current Hotfix 1.1 grouping before trusting older color-only guides. Match the named card to the live Blue/Gold, Blue/Silver, Purple/Gold, or Purple/Silver grouping. | Major Arcana Guide |
| Minor Arcana card | Zone 1, Archives | Identify the suit first, then compare the deck treatment and ordered row. Do not move a card to another suit because the border color looks close. | Tarot Sorting Guide |
| Wand | Zone 2, Wand Workshop | Match school, floor, case color, trim, material family, and cabinet examples before relying on silhouette. Similar boxes can belong to different schools. | Wand Workshop Guide |
| Potion | Zone 3, Alchemy Lab | Match bottle treatment, color, full item name, and shelf examples inside the same floor or family. Finish one reliable family before moving batches. | Alchemy Lab Guide |
| Ingredient | Zone 3, Alchemy Lab | Sort by container first: tin, jar, glass bottle, potion, or loose ingredient. Then use category, label, shape, and nearby completed examples. | Alchemy Lab Guide |
| Chest key | Key and upgrade route | Confirm the room landmark, chest, and unlocked ability before assuming a missing sorting item. Keys are better checked through the upgrade route than by shelf color. | Keys & Upgrades Guide |
| Item not found | Current room | Search stairs, railings, shelf ends, alcoves, furniture edges, upper galleries, and cleaning objectives before resetting the route. | Missing Items Guide |
Tarot card placement
For a tarot card, identify the zone first: tarot belongs in the Archives. Read the full card name, then separate Major Arcana from the four suits. Hotfix 1.1 changed Zone 1 names, colors, groups, and Major Arcana presentation, so current shelf examples are safer than old screenshots.
Use this order:
- Major Arcana or Minor Arcana.
- Suit or named Major Arcana group.
- Deck treatment, color, and trim.
- Sequence position against a completed neighboring row.
If the row accepts related cards but rejects this one, recheck whether the card belongs to a different Arcana group or suit before moving across the room.
Wand placement
For a wand, identify the Wand Workshop floor and school before comparing fine details. Each school has a case color and repeats material or trim patterns, so the safest path is school first, material second, exact family third.
Use this order:
- School clue from the name suffix, such as crypt, flame, heal, shadow, shape, or portal.
- Floor and cabinet group.
- Trim: gold, silver, or bronze.
- Material family: exotic, metal, or wood.
- Number or set position against the examples in that cabinet.
If a wand looks right but will not place, do not force it into the same-looking box. Re-read the full name and compare the school label.
Ingredient and potion placement
For an Ingredient or potion, the Alchemy Lab is the starting point. The useful first clue is the container, because the same floor can contain several themes with similar colors.
Use this order:
- Container type: tin, jar, bottle, potion, or loose item.
- Floor and side: moon, sun, or upper category.
- Category clue, such as Botany, Beast, Aquatic, Draconic, Celestial, Geodes, Abyssal, or Divine.
- Shape, size, label, and the examples already placed in the display.
If the family is correct but the display rejects the object, check whether the shelf expects a different container shape before changing floors.
Chest key lookup
Chest key questions should stay tied to room landmarks and unlocks. Do not use a key route as proof that a sorting item is missing; first confirm whether the remaining objective is a chest, an upgrade, sorting progress, or cleaning progress.
Use the Keys & Upgrades Guide when the object is a key, chest reward, ability unlock, or movement upgrade.
When browser find does not solve it
- Open the zone guide for the room you are standing in.
- Search exact names on the page, then search broader family words like tarot, wand, jar, potion, key, or ingredient.
- Compare against completed rows instead of empty shelves.
- Check whether the remaining counter belongs to cleaning, not sorting.
- Use the Missing Items Guide if the item is off-screen, hidden, invisible, or stuck behind room geometry.
Source boundary
This hub only turns current site evidence into a faster lookup path. Exact per-item rows should be added only when they have current-version gameplay testing, official notes, or a clearly marked community source.
